Hello again and welcome back to the Art of Business English. Today we are going to produce our first video podcast. In this episode, we will be showing you some basic skills to improve your business emails.

If you struggle with your email and often have problems with things like clarity and communicative ability, then you will definitely enjoy this episode.

During this video podcast, we will be looking at relevant skills to help you improve your clarity when writing emails. We have divided the video into 6 different sections. Firstly, we are going to look at the context of the email so that you understand what the email is regarding. Secondly, we will show you how to start or open an email. Then we will cover the mechanics, with things such as grammar, layout, organisation and spelling. In the fourth part, we will be covering style and tone, specifically what type of language. Moving on from there we will look at ways to improve clarity.  In the final part, we will give you some bonus expressions to help you finish up.
